Refunds will be made at the discretion of the office and take individual circumstances into account.
A doctors letter maybe required for refunds due to illness.
The courses run in blocks of six weeks and no missed classes can be carried forward to another course.

Catch ups are a gesture of good will and may be withdrawn at anytime, if an appropriate catch up time cannot be found, the lesson is non-refundable.
When booking lessons please advise of any medical information regarding your child and if necessary any medical information regarding the adult swimming in a baby lesson. All medical information will be treated with the strictest confidence, only the necessary teacher will be advised to ensure safety.
Never bring your child swimming if they have any illness such as an ear infection, diarrhoea, chicken pox, impetigo, conjunctivitis or a bad cold. Please wait until your doctor has given the all-clear before returning to classes.
In the instance of sickness and diarrhoea your child must have been clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours before attending a lesson.
At the Swimming Pool
We check all facilities on our arrival and departure from the pool, however please beware due to the environment the floors may become slippery when wet.
Please remove outdoor shoes or use over shoes in and around the pool area including the changing rooms.
Please ensure that parents and carers are within the vicinity of the pool during lessons.
Once your child has left their lesson please ensure they are safe in the changing room as we are unable to take responsibility for them.
No food or drink is to be consumed in the changing rooms or poolside. Water may be brought poolside in a sports water bottle.
Please only enter the pool on the swim teachers instruction.
Please ensure siblings remain under your supervision whilst watching swimming lessons.
Assisting the child in the water
For young children and beginners the teacher will conduct the lesson from in the water. It will be necessary to assist children whilst they are learning to swim. This will include the children being supported in the water to gain confidence and master the strokes. If you would like to discuss this with us do not hesitate to contact the office. All teachers will carry a valid DBS check.
Video and photography
When taking photographs or video footage, we would ask that everyone remains sensitive to the feelings of others and always stops filming should they be asked to do so. It is our policy to ask everyone participating in the class if they are happy with photographs or video footage being taken during their lesson. If pictures or video footage contain anyone else other than there own child it is not appropriate to post them on public accessible websites, they should only be for private use.
Valuables and Jewellery
All property left in changing rooms or on poolside and all property (including prams) left in entrance halls or outside, is left at your own risk. Simply Swim cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions. Please remove all jewellery (except wedding rings) before entering the water.
Always change your baby on a suitable changing mat in a safe place and stay with your child at all times.
A double swim nappy system must be worn by all babies and young children who are not toilet trained. This is usually a disposable nappy with a reusable neoprene nappy over the top.
Please take all your used nappies away with you.
Unfortunately we can only accommodate one adult in the pool at a time with each child who must be either the child’s parent or designated carer and over 16 years of age. However, we are happy for other members of your family, friends, or child minders to bring your child to classes. Anyone new to the class must let the instructor know at the beginning of the session, including any health issues, so they can provide the extra help and advice that will be needed.
Simply Swim will try to provide the same teacher to maintain continuity but this may change due to illness and circumstances beyond our control.
